Bria Rose N’ Thorns
First nation singer, song writer Bria Rose (27) grew up in the small community of Dease Lake in Northwest B.C.. She evokes power and playfulness through her stories and sound. Her colourful spirit digs deep to share her northern perspective through lyrics, glow, and exuberance. Bria’s artistic style draws inspiration from influences such as Janice Joplin, Creedence Clearwater Revival, Miley Cyrus, and Digging Roots to name a few. In July 2023, she performed with her band “The Thorns” at the Village Bakery in Haines Junction, Yukon. Bria on vocals and acoustic guitar is joined on stage by Kris Moore, and Francois Jacques on electric guitars, Adam Cripps on bass and Josh Mac on drums.
